The two couples pair off on their dates — Chris and Anna enjoying dinner and dessert out while Lilith entertains Don at her new home. Eventually the conversations of each couple separately involve the same topic: Don’s dreams of Lilith. When Lilith discovers Don’s dreams, she is convinced that Don is the reincarnation of her first and true love 300 years ago, when she was still human. Yet when Anna hears Chris describe the dreams, she has the same realization. She confides this to Chris and then also drops the real bombshell: that Lilith is a vampire.

Folks, I must beg of you some more patience. Besides myself being sick, Michelle, my fiancée and voice of Lilith, has also been sick, as has Karl, the voice of Christian. This has put a strain on getting recordings for Episode 7 done, and they still have not been done yet.

However, episode 6 is now being delayed due to technical difficulties. This all started with the storms a couple weeks back, which caused our roof to leak. When contractors arrived to do repairs, I had to hastily move my computer. Since then, I’ve been having issues with my computer, and now have lost some of the audio for episode 6. Luckily I have backups, but these are only of the original audio recordings per character. My Audacity project is corrupted and therefore all of the editing I had done so far is lost and must be done again.

All of my built in lead time has been lost and now I’m up against a time wall. So, like a podcaster, I’m going to time-shift the schedule. Barring any future issue, I should have Episode six up by February 19th. *knock on wood*

I hope you will all forgive me this delay. If I manage to get the audio edited down again sooner, I promise I’ll drop it in before the 19th.

Before the episode gets started, I want to take a brief moment of your time. On January 5, 2010, Natalie Morris, the wife of Tee Morris, passed away. Tee Morris is well known in the realm of podcasting, being the very first podiobook author. He has been an inspiration to me and many of my fellow podcasters. Tee now has the unenviable job of raising his daughter, lovingly nicknamed “Sonic Boom”, on his own. Phillippa Ballantine recently set up a Chip-In account online to raise money for a college trust fund for “Sonic Boom”, as well as holding an auction soon, dubbed The Boom Effect, to further contribute to the fund. If you haven’t already heard about these efforts I want to point you to the websites. They are RememberNatalie.org and TheBoomEffect.org.

For myself, in addition to continued heavy projects at work, sick family including myself and Michelle, and then this week some very nasty storms, I’ve not been able to get episode 6 edited. Happy New Year! My apologies for the late arrival of LILITH’S LOVE episode five. Besides the holidays keeping me away from the PC, I also came down with a nasty bug this week which kept me down and out. But never down too long, and without any further ado, I present you with the latest chapter.

Lilith and Anna have arrived in Phoenix. In addition to looking for a house to move into, Anna wants to check out the local Wiccan covens to see if there’s any she could join. Chris is making his plans for Halloween. He also wants to find a coven and discovers one that has a Stone Soup meet for Samhain. On Halloween night, Chris is introduced to Anna who found the same coven’s Samhain supper.
