Delays

I am writing to you all from my phone. This is because my PC has crashed again and I’m in the process of determining what can be salvaged. Beyond my health issues, this has been the largest factor in the many and persistent delays in producing the final episodes of LILITH’S LOVE.

I promise you all that as soon as I can, I will be releasing the episodes here and on the mirror sites. I want to thank you for your patience. Those of you leaving comments, please know that I appreciate your words and know that I would have responded sooner had I the chance.
June has just been a terrible month around here. I am eager to see it gone and move on with the production post haste.

Folks, we do apologize for the delay in not only episodes here but over at OutOfTheCoffin.com. Computer problems, summer vacations, and random octopus incursions are keeping us all very busy. We are still planning to release the next episode in June (yes of 2010, thank you very much), with the final episodes to follow in short order in July. Hang with us. We’re getting everything in order, we promise!

Phoenix Comicon 2010

Hey everyone, I wanted to let you all know that I will be attending the Phoenix Comicon this Memorial Day weekend. I am not a guest nor on any panels; I am just attending as a convention-goer. I will definitely be there all day Saturday and Sunday. I may be attending Thursday and Friday nights. Michelle (the voice of Lilith) will be joining me on Sunday.

Furthermore, I have confirmed that other Lilith’s Love voice actors will be attending on various days. Including Dani Cutler (Anna), Jack Mangan (Michael), CJ Feierabend (Mary Jane), Dan Feierabend (The Master), and TD-0013 (the Patrolman).

If you will be attending Phoenix Comicon, please let me know by sending me a Twitter DM (@DanS42) or Facebook msg. I would love to see you there!

By the by, there’s apparently a convention in Baltimore this weekend, too. If you happen to be headed that way, have fun and say Hey to everyone for me. :^)

I have spent the last couple nights recovering the audio of Chapter 11 for my lines. I still have to edit my audio and then edit everyone else’s in. There is no way this will be done by this weekend. My apologies. I will endeavor to have the episode posted as soon as possible.

In the meantime, enjoy your Walpurgisnacht bonfires, and then have a scone and a large house blend this weekend and I’ll be back ASANP (As Soon As Nocturnally Possible).

AZ Storycasting Meetup & Signing

Hey everyone, I wanted to take a brief moment and let you all know that I will be attending the AZ Storycasting Meetup & Signing as a guest author. I will be there talking about “fantasy casting” with other local authors, and I will be signing copies of LILITH’S LOVE.

LILITH’S LOVE Episode 6 Delayed Again

Folks, I must beg of you some more patience. Besides myself being sick, Michelle, my fiancée and voice of Lilith, has also been sick, as has Karl, the voice of Christian. This has put a strain on getting recordings for Episode 7 done, and they still have not been done yet.

However, episode 6 is now being delayed due to technical difficulties. This all started with the storms a couple weeks back, which caused our roof to leak. When contractors arrived to do repairs, I had to hastily move my computer. Since then, I’ve been having issues with my computer, and now have lost some of the audio for episode 6. Luckily I have backups, but these are only of the original audio recordings per character. My Audacity project is corrupted and therefore all of the editing I had done so far is lost and must be done again.

All of my built in lead time has been lost and now I’m up against a time wall. So, like a podcaster, I’m going to time-shift the schedule. Barring any future issue, I should have Episode six up by February 19th. *knock on wood*

I hope you will all forgive me this delay. If I manage to get the audio edited down again sooner, I promise I’ll drop it in before the 19th.

Hey everyone, I’m dropping by to deliver our very first promo. It features Donovan in the present giving folks a bit of a tease about what happened back in 1993. You could call it a spoiler, but I hope you are anxious to see how it all unfolds.

Thank you for visiting, and hopefully subscribing, to the podiobook release of LILITH’S LOVE.

Episode One will drop on Halloween, October 31, 2009! I hope you will give it a listen and then subscribe or visit regularly, as I will be releasing each episode every other week.

In between episodes I plan to sprinkle in other goodies, like PDFs of the recording scripts, out-takes, and feedback episodes.
